Sea of Glass Center for the Arts, 330 E. 7th St, Tucson, AZ 85705, USA

About the event

Building Biologists Lisa Smith and Brian Johnson will start the evening with some basics on microwave (wireless) radiation and use their meters to lead us in a round of “How Low Can We Go”in radiation, that is.

Next the film will be shown. From the producers:

“GENERATION ZAPPED is a powerfully moving and thought-provoking documentary, daring to shine light on this invisible inconvenience, and empowers audiences to understand how to reduce their exposure to protect themselves and their families.”

Following the film, Dr. Smith will give a brief update on recent progress made globally and in the U.S. towards protection from wireless technology radiation. Then there will be an update on the 5G cell tower deployment in Tucson, a source of radiation to which Tucsonans are being exposed without their knowledge or consent. Last but not least, you will have a chance to ask your questions during the Q&A with local experts.

Doors open at 5:30.  Enjoy the folks, food and beverages while you learn about this growing environmental pollutant and how the multi-billion-dollar telecommunications industry—like the lead, asbestos and tobacco industries before them—goes to great lengths to lobby congress, influence policy makers, and dispute any scientific data on health risks.
